Introduction

I am a Central Scotland based artist who loves to paint, draw and create original prints. My inspiration comes from the things around me - whether that be the local landscapes, the animals within it or the people I engage with, although I am fond of a characterful tree or an energetic sky. I have a broad range of interests which inspire my artistic endeavors and I like to experiment with a range of mediums.

I believe we all have locations and things that invoke strong emotions within us and that for me is why I try to bring a sense of place and subject to my work. Something that the viewer can recognise, can sense, can feel and through the work can be transported back to that memory and emotion.
